Panning:
I used the app called ProCamera to take these pictures. My shutter speed was 1/30s. Whenever I saw an object moving, I tried to move my camera with it and take as many pictures as possible. By doing this, I was able to get several good pictures that are examples of panning.
Long exposure:
I used my iPhone camera with live mode. By holding my camera still while people or the cars are moving, I was able to take a long exposure picture. There is an option on the iPhone where I could take the picture in long exposure.

Kyle Thompson
Kyle Thompson’s self-portrait photographs are mostly based on mother nature. One of the main characteristics that we could find in his photography is emerging into nature. He really tries to blend in with nature. Sometimes, he would use some props to help him disguised in the forest. He is known to disgust the suburb areas since he believes that it is a fake reality made by humans. This idea is clearly shown in his photography as we could see how he creates an ominous and gloomy mood and also how he seems to suffocate in the man-made structures. All of his pictures are in colour and he rarely uses slow shutter speed to take pictures. It seems like, most of the time, he uses only one technique which is fast shutter speed to get a clear image of dust and smog. Although, as I mentioned earlier, he uses a lot of props to create different kinds of moods and vibes which play a huge part in his photography.
